Concrete Rush Obstacle Challenge Comes to Toronto
Rush hour is about to get a whole lot more interesting!
Rush hour is about to get a whole lot more fun! Concrete Rush, a brand new obstacle course challenge, is coming to Toronto on April 28th and 29th, 2017.
The heart of the city – Nathan Phillips Square - will transform into a 2-kilometre, 15-obstacle course for the unofficial kick-off to Ontario’s OCR season. Concrete Rush pits racers against a series of city-themed obstacles that will test the mettle of both newbies and seasoned racers alike. Make it over the 8 foot walls of the Road Block obstacle, climb to the top and slide your way down SkyLine or lug a wreck bag over four foot walls in the Construction Zone.
Organized by the stellar team from Mud Hero, Concrete Rush will also feature some of their most popular obstacles, including Kong, Ropes & Slopes and the Platinum Rig.
There are two race categories. Weekend warriors can join others in the timed and competitive-as-you-want-to-make-it Rusher category. Pick your wave on Friday night after work or at various times throughout the day on Saturday.
On Saturday the level of racing kicks up a notch! Elite racers can tackle the Elite Rusher category for a chance to take home cash prizes (top three men and women) and land a coveted spot at the OCR World Champs. If you’re not quite at elite level, come down and watch how top OCR athletes tackle this concrete jungle!
