Good Friday Road Race Offers Something for the Whole Family

44th Year for Festive Spring Classic

For 44 years the Burlington Runners have been hosting their popular Good Friday Road Race. On Friday, April 14th hundreds of runners are EGGS-pected to lace up and tackle the 10-kilometre, 5-kilometre and Bunny Hop events, which start at Aldershot High School in Burlington, Ontario.
The day kicks off with the 1-kilometre Bunny Hop, a fun and festive run that is a first for many of its pint-sized participants. Bunny Hoppers receive a finisher’s medal and goody bag.
Once the Hop wraps up the big races get underway. Packed with talent, some of the area’s best runners and running teams kick off their season with this race. Spectators can enjoy the scene as these runners glide past them en-route to the finish line.
Join triathlete and 5K record-breaking runner Jessey the Elf, his dog Hunter Buxbaum and the Easter Bunny for this premier family running event!
This year the first 600 racers to register for the event will receive a branded technical running shirt and all 5-kilometre and 10-kilometre finishers receive a medal.
Student rates are available – just $25 for the 5K or 10K.
