Quick Pick Review - Arc’teryx A2B Hardshell Blazer for Women & the Bianca 19 Tote
Yes, Canadian outdoor clothing and climbing gear company Arc’teryx offers a women’s blazer!
The coolest feature about this jacket is its ability to transform from a meeting-approved blazer…
…to a streamlined outer shell, ready for the unpredictable spring weather while out on a coffee run or when commuting from the office!
You can close up the lapel, button it up, and stay protected from the elements. There’s even a storm flap under the lapel that helps blocks out the wind. Flipping up collar and untucking the cuffs also reveal reflective strips that stay hidden while you’re in office mode.
Not only does it have a back vent to prevent overheating while on that bike ride to work or on the stuffy streetcar going home, but it’s also got ZIPPERED pockets! Ladies, I’m sure you can relate to how impossible it is to find a tailored, waterproof and windproof blazer with zippered pockets ;-) Thank you Arc’teryx for finally creating something like this!
Another cool Arc’teryx item that is part of their Spring 2017 lifestyle collection is the Bianca 19 Tote.
This super-lightweight tote bag features the same seam-sealing process as their jackets, making it almost 100% water-resistant.
There are two zipper pulls for the opening and a smaller zippered pocket that is accessible from the outside.
Another great feature on this tote bag is the ability to use the straps for carrying a yoga mat or as a quick-access spot to tuck away a jacket or sweater.
The straps are also padded at the top so that if you pack your bag full of stuff like I do, the straps won’t cut into your hands from all the weight in it.
The Arc’teryx A2B Hardshell Blazer and the Bianca 19 Tote are two great spring items for the outdoorsy woman who values functionality, practicality and urban style.
