The 34th Annual Apple Triathlon (video)

The Apple hosted novices, veterans, and the BC Provincial Championships this August

The Apple Triathlon has been an icon of the triathlon scene since 1983. Friends, families, colleagues, National Champions, Olympic Champions and World Champions have all stood at the Apple start line and nervously gazed over the pristine waters of Lake Okanagan. This August it was GOT Reporter Dan Folkman that put his endurance to the test. Check out his report below!

(*note there is a slight error in the content of the video in that the race was not run by two Olympic gold medallists … it is actually run by one Olympian (Malindi Elmore, 1500m) and James Young.  As well, this was the 34th annual running of the event not the 33rd)
