Outdoor brand KEEN supports Ukraine with donation urges others to follow suit

Outdoor brand KEEN is standing with the people of Ukraine by making a commitment of $50,000 in monetary and production donations.

The Russian invasion of the democratic country of Ukraine is entering its seventh day and quickly becoming a humanitarian disaster of epic proportion.
“We can’t stay silent when faced with a humanitarian crisis like what is happening in Ukraine. It is our collective responsibility to take care of one another as human beings,” read a statement from KEEN.

The donation will support Ukrainian refugees at the Poland, Slovakia and Hungary borders via Global Giving, a nonprofit that supports other nonprofits by connecting them to donors and companies to provide immediate support to local organizations.

KEEN has also teamed up with local distributors in Poland and the Czech Republic, MM Sport and Outdoor Concept, to support Ukrainian refugees with footwear and other essentials.
Since its inception in 2004, KEEN has always made it a priority to take action when communities are faced with humanitarian crises like what is happening in Ukraine.
KEEN is asking other outdoor companies to act by doing what they can to support those affected by this crisis by way of monetary or product donations.
